Magickal Journal 101: a quick guide

 Magickal  Journal 101

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿพ long time no see..?

Now, as spiritual beings, we all come across amazing higher dimensional experiences in our incarnations. some you may remember crystal clear, like meeting your soulmate, or, say, a vision you had as a child that displayed your whole life story on fast-foward.. (awfully specific, I know: that's cause it happened to me.. more about this in a future post ๐Ÿ˜‹) some may remain a fuzzy mist within your memories.

wouldn't it be great to remember exactly what happened? well, there's a great fix to that: start keeping a magickal journal! this will help you prevent any phenomena from slipping past your memories, and may help you remember previous spiritual occurrences at the tip of your tongue.

magickal journals are journaling for the spiritual element of life: dreams, astrology, divination, psychic experiences, etc. this helps you keep tabs and see tangible progress that you've made along your journey. if you've done any spellwork, this will allow you to replicate the same spell and results, and improve it from before. Synchronicities can be documented here, which will help the divine communication be understood better. there's tons of benefits to keeping one!

There's no specific way of having a magickal journal either. You can make it as elaborate or simple as you want. Here are a few things that you can include in your journal:
  • date
  • Astrological data for that day
  • moon phase
  • Numerology day
  • dreams
  • synchronicities
  • shadow work sessions
  • divination results
you don't have to do all of these of course! just take what resonates with you and your journal. don't feel limited to this list as well: whatever you deem necessary for you.

And with that concludes this quick article! I've actually recently started my own magickal journal, so if you feel moved to start one from this, we'll be in it together. I feel it'll be nice and fun, and helpful lol. until next time!
